From mid-January to mid-February, NRCA high school students have a sweet opportunity to raise funds for select student activities during the World’s Finest Chocolate sale.

The varsity boys and girls swimming teams began the winter season strong with the addition of a preseason training program that prepared athletes physically and mentally.

When students attended the NRCA Book Fair from Oct. 27-31, they stepped into an adventure where a multitude of stories awaited.  

This fall, five NRCA athletes signed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Every year since I was a little girl, my family has taken turns reading Luke 2 on Christmas Eve.

After more than two decades of coaching at NRCA, middle school soccer Head Coach Sally Pinon retired from leading both the boys and girls teams.

Sometimes, history is best learned by eating pie and arguing within a 16th- or 18th-century context.

The gym was packed with an energetic crowd and loud cheers as a team of North Raleigh Christian Academy seniors took on the staff team in a basketball game before Thanksgiving break.

NRCA’s Marching Knights participated in the 81st Raleigh Christmas Parade over Thanksgiving break.

Lights on the beautifully decorated tree flashed on. Three original staff members stood smiling at the symbol of 30 years of NRCA history and Christmas tradition. 

I love this time of year. Don't you? The weather gets a little brisk, people seem to look up from their phones a little more, and festive lights appear everywhere!

When students in NRCA's Honors Nurse Aide I course study the endocrine system this year, they’ll experience the unit with science and story.  

Each fall, NRCA welcomes alumni for Homecoming to enjoy a time filled with memories, laughter, and a sense of community. This year, around 175 graduates attended the event.

Held on Monday, Sept. 29, from 6 to 7:30 pm, NRCA’s Fall College Fair helped students and their families grow knowledgeable in navigating students’ exciting next steps. The event offered direct access to representatives from 29 institutions. 

From the first serve to the final point, the NRCA varsity girls volleyball team proved what it means to be state champions.

Hopefully, everyone has had the experience of having a wise mentor. During my time in graduate school for directing, I had two great mentors. The first mentor challenged me in many ways by always questioning why I thought a certain way about a topic. She pushed me to widen my preconceived ways of thinking.

One of the most humanizing stories of friendship comes from the Old Testament story of Job, a righteous man blessed with many blessings, who lost all his possessions, children, and even his own health.

At North Raleigh Christian Academy, staff and teachers work hard to get to know the students. High School Principal Mr. Bruce Dial is a great example of this.
