Kindergarten 

NRCA has reviewed data from previous years and determined we can best partner with parents and set students up for success by requiring that rising kindergarten students turn five before July 1 of the current year to enroll. Students applying for admission to kindergarten will complete a developmental screening by a member of the NRCA staff, assessing their social-emotional, cognitive, language, gross and fine motor, and self-care skills. No preparation is needed for this screening. Screening dates will be offered in December and January. A registration link will be emailed to you by an Admissions team member after your online application has been completed and submitted and a payment has been received.

Grades 1-12 Testing

Students applying for admission to grades 1–12 must provide current Stanford 10, California Achievement, Iowa, or TerraNova test scores that are less than one year old. We cannot accept any other test scores for admission review. If current scores for one of these four tests are not available, please sign up for one of the testing dates below.  The Admissions Office must receive the Online New Student Application and payment ($150 Application Processing Fee plus the Enrollment Fee OR the $150 Application Processing Fee plus the first monthly payment) three days before the testing date. Please call the Admissions assistant at (919)573-7900 x1677 to reserve your student’s spot for a testing session. We cannot schedule an interview until testing is complete.
