North Raleigh Christian Academy celebrated spring Signing Day on May 13, adding five student-athletes to the list of Knights who will compete at the collegiate level next year. Representing four different sports and attending schools in and out of state, these athletes will have opportunities to live out the values of faith, leadership, and service they have learned as part of NRCA Athletics.

“It was an elementary and middle school all-levels clinic that was supposed to encourage young athletes to come try out softball and see how fun it was,” Harrison said. The clinic was open to NRCA girls in second through eighth grade.

On Feb. 14, 2026, North Raleigh Christian Academy senior Carson Caster walked off the mats of the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association State Wrestling Tournament as the 2026 NCISAA champion of the 113-pound weight class.

Olivia Bangs, a senior at NRCA, won the Division I state championship in the girls shot put at the NCRunners Independent Schools Indoor Championships on Feb. 9, throwing a winning distance of 31-1.25.

The varsity boys and girls swimming teams began the winter season strong with the addition of a preseason training program that prepared athletes physically and mentally.

This fall, five NRCA athletes signed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
