Cody Dickerson Commits to Pfeiffer University Basketball

Updated: 11 hours ago

Senior standout Cody Dickerson signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Pfeiffer University on April 30, 2025, surrounded by his family and teammates.

The decision to join the Falcons for the 2025-26 season was the result of three factors: the coaches’ kindness, the team’s interest in adding him to their roster, and the school’s campus.

Dickerson, who began playing organized basketball when he was three years old, worked hard to win the opportunity to play at the next level. “I’ve had physical therapy, tutoring, physical training with my basketball and my athletic trainer. All these resources helped me compete at a high level on and off the court,” he said.

During his time at NRCA, Dickerson learned lessons that he says prepared him for his move to the university. “It prepared me academically. It gave me an idea of how fast-paced college is and how much you have to be your own bumper to be able to do well here.”

His favorite moments in basketball center around the accomplishments he achieved through hard work.

As he wraps up his time in high school, Dickerson would like to recognize those who have shaped his life in basketball and beyond. He said, “I would like to thank all the coaches and trainers that helped me get to this point. I would like to thank God for guiding me to be a better man on and off the court, and also, I would like to thank my parents for putting me into positions that would benefit me in the long run, such as bringing me to NRCA.”
