Parent Involvement and Support

COMMITTED TO DEVELOPING A FAMILY MINISTRY

Advisory Committee

The advisory committee is a parent committee selected by the Superintendent which meets four times annually. This committee transacts business between parent council meetings, creates special subcommittees for policy and procedure studies, and plans the parent council meetings.

Booster Club

The purpose of the Booster Club is to support the athletic and fine arts programs of NRCA. The club meets four-six times annually. The club engages in fundraising activities in support of these programs. The club also promotes the interaction of NRCA's families in athletic and fine arts events. The club is supported in part by an annual membership fee. The success of the club is dependent upon the active membership and participation of all parents and families. Booster club members receive discounts to all athletic and fine arts activities.

Moms-In-Touch

Moms in Touch consists of moms who gather weekly to pray for students, staff, and other school-related concerns. All mothers are welcome to be part of this prayer support ministry.

PVA - Parent Volunteer Association

NRCA is proud to have dedicated parent volunteers that serve in numerous functions throughout the school. How do you join? If you're an NRCA parent, you're already a member! Whatever your interests, there are definitely places for you to connect with the school through the PVA: After School Café, Armory, Back to School Reception, Book Fair, Grade Level Coordinator, Hospitality Closet, New Family Welcome Program, New Parent Coffee, Retail and Redemption, Staff Appreciation Buffet, & Supply Packs.

For information about volunteering, please email volunteer@nrcaknights.com.

Conferencing

Parental support and involvement are vital to the success of North Raleigh Christian Academy. Parents are expected to participate in the Parent-Teacher Fellowship meetings whose purpose is to encourage fellowship and strengthen communication between parents, teachers, and the administration. Through these meetings parents are kept informed of policies and other important information.
